Worldwide Architecture Day in Nysa
On the 9th of June in St. Jadwiga Bastion in Nysa the celebration of Worldwide Architecture Day will take place. During this day, all culture and architecture fans will be able to see numerous exhibitions, presentations and participate in interesting lectures, workshops and debates.
The event is organized by the Council of the Regional Chamber of Architects of Poland in Opole and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa.
The official opening of the Worldwide Architecture Day in Nysa will be at 10.00 in the courtyard of the St. Jadwiga Bastion. The visitors will be welcomed by the organizers and till the evening, they could take part in events and workshops, which are also addressed to children.
In the afternoon, invited architects and experts will discussing about contemporary architecture and urban planning.
In the evening, up to midnight, the illumination show of the historic building of the Bastion will be presented.
All weekend in St. Jadwiga Bastion, there will be an exhibition "The Architect Profile", which is the collection of achievements of the Opole Regional Chamber of Architects members, foreign architects as well as students of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa.
