Indo-European Education Foundation in Warsaw
Indo-European Education Foundation (IEEF) - an exclusive NGO and Research Center is acting under Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Poland.
Since 2013, IEEF provides a real platform for individuals, students, scholars, universities, institutes, organizations, industries, GOs & NGOs- where the stimulation of ideas, vision and plans for alternatives are developed.
Indo-European Education Foundation is a Polish NGO, and nonprofit organization, recognized as established Research Centre in the hearth of Europe and Capital City of Poland - Warsaw. The Foundation's mission is to create a bridge between Poland, India and the European Union based on Academia-Industry Interlinked model of Business Cooperation. The project aims to support the program of internationalization of Polish higher education and to increase the involvement of science and higher education in the economic growth of the country by creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, and tools to expand distant with a highly potential markets such as India.

India with over 32 per cent of the 1.35 billion people under age group of 0- 14, and over 600 million people below the age of 25 years with huge appetite for better education seeking opportunities abroad. The numbers of people in India needing primary and secondary education alone exceeds the entire population of the USA. By 2020, India will have the largest tertiary-age population in the world and will have the second largest graduate talent pipeline globally following China and ahead of the USA. By 2023 India needs 40 million university places and by 2025 India needs 500 million skilled workers.
Due to IEEFs efficient work and launched different projects - recent data shows that Indian youth started to take interest for Polish education system and willing to complete various degrees program from Polish universities. In 2014, total number of Indian students were studying in Poland was 227, in 2018 it has been increased up to 5500, and expected to cross 10 000 by 2025.
Many Industries and entrepreneurs shown their interest from Poland as well as India to start cooperation in different sectors, especially in and for Opole region.Therefore, it is applicable for both the nations in order to create a bridge for fulfilling the gap left from decades through academia-Industry interlinked model of business cooperation by addressing each-others needs based on educational demands. Education as a business sector has not been yet considered as potential area of cooperation between India and Poland. But its a sector which will open unlimited opportunities for both the countries by playing wider role to increase business ties and trade flows based on supply and demand equation.
Thus, it was necessary to addresses all received requests from different part of Poland and provide them accurate support for the development of their business strategies. IEEF Nysa branch will be able to provide a platform for all interested parties, individuals, institutions, organizations, GOs NGOs and society at large for the the region and connect them with India as well as facilitate Indian business to Opole region. It has been created in association with University of Applied Sciences (PWSZ) in Nysa as best place for the development of strategies for academia and Industries.

HISTORY
Before establishment of Indo-European Education Foundation branch in Nysa (22nd February 2018), Polish Desk of the EuroIndia Centre were established at University of Applied Sciences (PWSZ) in Nysa (2014), as a branch of the EuroIndia Centre in France.
The main strategic aim of this Centre was to implement F.L.Y. A. Green K.I.T.E. strategy to build a unique institutional exchange platform at local level, covering Green Initiatives, Knowledge management, Investment and business, Tourism and culture and Environmentally sustainable urban development and bring about enduring win-win co-operations between Cities, Regions and States of Europe and India and their stakeholders: companies, academic and research institutes, NGOs& professionals to boost the economic development, social inclusiveness and environmental sustainability of cities.
