Intercultural dialogue through joint artistic youth activities
The University of Applied Sciences in Nysa together with its partner Halytskyi College named after Vyacheslav Chornovil from Ukraine realized an international project called "Intercultural dialogue through joint artistic youth activities" in the framework of the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council. The project involved students and young people from Nysa and Ternopil, who together for a whole week of international workshops carried out a program to develop their competencies. The project aimed to encourage young people from Poland and Ukraine to get to know each other and be open-minded, including joint artistic activities. Participants of the project, as part of the activities, created their own badges and handmade friendship magnets, what is more, during the ceramics workshop they learned how to make a clay, created artistic products from yarn and thread.
In addition, young people from Poland and Ukraine participated in integration meetings, taught each other regional songs and dances of both nations, actively spent time cooking together and bowling. The students also recorded promotional videos "Greetings from Nysa" in interesting way showing the cultural values of the city of Nysa.
