International Cooperation Office

1. General info about formalities

The students who are applying for study at The School of Higher Vocational Education in Nysa are requested to send the following documents to the International Cooperation Office:

1. Confirmation of student's nomination as an exchange student from the home institution
2. Application Form (see point no 2)
3. Learning Agreement - This document describes the curriculum of the studies that the student intends to undertake at the School of Higher Vocational Education in Nysa. It's a kind of agreement between the individual student and the institution involved and is made before the student goes abroad.

   But please notice that LA which you will prepare is provisionally and after we get all Learning Agreements
   (from all partners universities) we will create the group and final programme in English.
4. Confirmation of English Language Competences
5. Transcript of Records (courses completed at the home university) OPTIONAL in some cases (Management, Finance, Computer Science, Nursing, Public Health, Conservation, Architecture) students are also requested to send the list of completed courses at home university prior to their going on exchange (English version, confirmed by home institution). It helps in analyzing students prerequisites to the certain study programmes.
6. Insurance policy -The student must be insured during the ERASMUS study in Nysa, and is requested to present it at International Cooperation Office after arrival

On-line application form you can find at www.erasmus.pwsz.nysa.pl After filling the questionnaire please print it out, sign, confirm by International Office and send us via original post with a photo and other documents.

3. Accommodation

As a foreign ERASMUS Student you have the possibility of being accommodated in our Dormitory (cost: 340 PLN i.e. about 80 EUR). The rooms are 2-3 persons with a bathroom mixed with polish and other international students. Please confirm that we have to book a place for You.

4. Academic calendar

We are going to start the winter semester on 30th of September and it should finish around 14th of February.

5. Polish language course

Please give us the information concerning your participation in Intensive Polish language preparatory course (3 weeks in September.)in case of Your interest we will send You more info. The course is obligatory for student5s from medical faculties.

6. Arrival date

Please confirm us the arrival date (e-mail it will be enough). It's necessary to prepare the place in dormitory for you. If you have any problem with finding the train or bus to Nysa please do not hesitative to contact us.
